TC970 - Supply of Electricity

Tender description

The tender is for the supply of electricity to all Manchester City Council operational building stock, plus associated electricity supplies to all Manchester schools, and to affiliated independent organisations that secure their electricity through the City Council. It is also for the supply of electricity to the Street Lighting and other unmetered supplies. The framework will also be used by Salford City Council and Bolton Council. The requirement is divided into the following lots: Lot 1 1 UMS HH Street Lighting supply (plus 5 UMS NHH Street lighting supplies). Total load. 17GWH Lot 2 128 Over 100KW sites (including 4 over 1MW sites). Total load 74GWh. Lot 3 920 Sub 100KW sites (profiles 01-04). Total load 20GWh. Lot 4 10 non mainstream associated "autonomous" supplies that are part of a standalone "independent" pot. Total load 8GWh. The purpose of the procurement exercise was to appoint a number of individual firms to each of the above Lot's, each operating under a Framework Agreement.
