Tender description

The Employer is looking to appoint a Managed Service contractor to provide a Reactive Maintenance and Repair Service, which may include some Minor Project work. Reactive Maintenance items are those which comprise day to day emergency repairs together with short term items to rectify immediate problems, e.g. patch repairs to roof. The Employer is looking to appoint a contractor to provide a Reactive Maintenance and Repair Service, which may include some Minor Project work. Reactive Maintenance items are those which comprise day to day emergency repairs together with short term items to rectify immediate problems, e.g. patch repairs to roof. 1.2.3) The appointed contractor will be required to provide a 24 hour service to all Yorkshire Water Services (YWS) operational premises excluding Corporate Buildings; 1.2.4) The Contractor shall be required to provide maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical services and plant. The exception to this will be where term maintenance contracts exist for specialist plant and equipment; 1.2.5) There will be a requirement for a 3-stage response system, for example, 2 hour maximum response on emergency or health and safety (life threatening) situations, 4 hour maximum response for urgent but non-emergency work and 4 days for all other work required; 1.2.6) The Contract duration will be for a maximum of 4 years.
