Met Office Forecasting Service Delivery Frontline Office Refurbishments - Decorating

Tender description

Decorating services at Met Office accommodation at the following military sites throughout mainland UK. These sites include, but are not limited to, the following: o RAF Brize Norton o RAF Coningsby o RAF Gibraltar o RAF Lossiemouth o RAF Odiham o RAF Wattisham A full redecoration is planned at some sites, but for others only touching up of the paintwork is required. The Met Office requires the successful bidder to supply all tools and materials required for the decorating works. The paint types to be used include, but are not limited to, the following colours in matt, silk and gloss: o Dulux 10BB 83/014 (white) o Dulux 10RB 36/082 (grey - Brooklyn Nights 3) o Dulux 67BG 19/394 (blue - Azure Fusion 3) o Dulux 50GG 30/467 (green - Minted Glory 4) Where flooring is to be replaced, the following materials are our standard selections: o Milliken NGT03ZESTrm carpet tiles o Milliken NGT13L carpet tiles o Polyflor SD Grey Steel sheet vinyl A number of signs, pictures, whiteboards and noticeboards will need to be mounted to the walls at each site. Specifications have been attached for an upcoming refurbishment at RAF Wattisham, including a site drawing, photos and draft implementation plan (to be finalised with the successful supplier). Details of the room dimensions are provided within the implementation plan. Please provide a quotation for this site refurbishment; we will then extrapolate this cost across the wider project.
