Tender description
This requirement is to contract out the initial academic training where individuals complete the mandatory academic modules to achieve a B1 or B2 licence as well as Electrical Wiring Installation System (EWIS), Fuel Tank Safety and Human Factors courses. This SoR addresses the RAF requirement to contract out the initial academic training where individuals complete the mandatory academic modules to achieve a B1 or B2 licence as well as Electrical Wiring Installation System (EWIS), Fuel Tank Safety and Human Factors (HF) courses. The course composition must be flexible, allowing for a mixed class of up to 20 B1/B2 students, as decreed by 14 Sqn management based on Service need at that time, prior to each individual course commencing. The courses are to deliver the following: — complete EASA Part-147 approved civilian Licensed Engineering course for up to 20 personal to include; ab initio Part-66 full B1/B2 course to include teaching and examination programme to allow maintainers to certify on a propeller aircraft above 5700 kg, along with EWIS, fuel tank safety, and HF training, — recovery support and additional examinations for RAF students who have failed modules during this course or a previous course undertaken in 2017 at another Part-147 EASA approved engineering teaching establishment, — the Cyber Essentials DCPP (Defence Cyber Protection Partnership) internet-based Cyber Security Model Risk Assessment has been completed by the RAF User (the Customer), thus the Cyber Risk of this requirement is classified as ‘low’.
