KMCIRS-064 - Provision of Education, Training, Employment and Lifelong Learning

Tender description

The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the “Council”) has established a Dynamic Purchasing System (“DPS”) for the provision of Education, Training, Employment and Lifelong Learning (the “Service” or “Services”) by which Education, Training, Employment and Lifelong Learning Delivery Partners (the “Delivery Partners”) can become eligible to apply for funding from the Council. This funding may be via the commissioning of specific projects . The DPS commenced on 1st February 2018 for a period of two (2) years up to 31st January 2020, with a provision to extend the DPS for up to two (2) further one (1) year periods (the "DPS Period"), subject to continued availability of funding and/or the use of eligible Delivery Partners continuing to meet the requirements and demands of the Service. The DPS is divided into nine (9) categories as follows: 1) activity to support engagement & progression; 2) training for volunteers; 3) English language support for English speakers of other languages (ESOL); 4) employability provision; 5) apprenticeship support and development; 6) additional support to maintain and progress in learning and employment; 7) workforce diagnostic and development; 8) basic skills provision; and 9) enhanced information, advice and guidance (IAG) Keywords: learning, training, ESOL, basic skills, engagement
