The Office for National Statistics (the Contracting Authority) requires external support on service design and service integration to help meet a target maturity state by the end of March 2018 and a further target maturity state by the end of June 2018. This contract covers the activities required to achieve the target maturity states 0 and 1 in two areas for specific support: 1.Service Design & Service Integration -This defines the operational and statistical design that will enable the Authority to deliver the 2021 Census. It will also define the boundaries and interactions across multiple service providers, and how these providers will interface to enable the end-to-end Census delivery. Service integration also includes systems integration*, supplier management and information exchange. 2.Service Design & Service Integration Programme Governance -while the Authority will provide programme wide project management including budgeting, planning, reporting and resources, supporting project management for service design and service integration will be provided by Deloitte. *Note that systems integration is being undertaken by DST.
