Tender description

The Social Enterprise Training Programme aims to inform and train people in the community start, develop and sustain social enterprises that: • have a Traded Income (plus any other streams of funding) • have a Social Impact (with targeting disadvantage and addressing community need as subthemes) • are Not for Profit (Including Non-Governmental) 2. Objectives of Project The objectives of this project are: • To develop more Social Enterprises and Support existing Social Enterprises to reach their potential. • To support groups to become more self-sustainable by removing dependency. • Address disadvantage, improve quality of life, create employment and increase services within communities. • Have a strategic approach to the area of work. 3. Methodology The project will be delivered through a series of training workshops that address the following topics: • Start Up and Structures • Idea Generation and Service Needs Assessment • Business Plan Development • Pricing and Valuing a Service • Grant and Funding Applications • Staff Development and Training Needs • Recruitment Processes • Procurement Processes • Policies and Procedures • Marketing and Sales
