BHCC SW School Meals Service in Primary and Special Schools - AWARD

Tender description

The Council wish to procure a contract with a provider with the prime objective of providing school meals throughout the City's schools, the contract should improve value for money for schools and parents, whilst providing good quality healthy meals for children which as a minimum meet the standards within Schedule 1 - Service Specification. The Council will require that contractors demonstrate a commitment to sustainability issues. Food supplied should be healthy and produced in ways that respect the environment, animals and people, and prioritise local, seasonal produce where available, appropriate and affordable.
