Lift installation work

Tender description

The Housing Executive requires the provision of a suitably qualified and competent Contractor to provide a comprehensive response and planned maintenance service (including supply, installation, removal, repair and a call out service) for a range of vertical through floor and external step lifts, currently, and to be, installed in Housing Executive’s properties across Northern Ireland. The Service required will include, but may not be limited to the following items of work to the Housing Executive’s vertical through floor and external step lifts: — service and maintenance of all lifts current lifts and any lifts installed during the contract, — assessment and completion of any and all repairs to lifts, — replacement of worn and defective parts, — installation of new lifts or stored previously used lifts, — storage of lifts, — removal and disposal, or refurbishment and storage of lift units, — response to call outs 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week which may be within very short lead times (i,e, 1 hour for emergency call outs), — testing of lifts as directed by the Housing Executive, — any health and safety checks and fire risk/fire safety requirements that may be required in association in providing this service and at the request of the housing executive, — any other duties required under this contract as will be provided for within the specification.
