Import/Export Clearance Services - Prior Information Notice.

Tender description

The University is a complex and devolved organisation. It purchases goods from overseas and undertakes collaborative research with partners internationally, that can involve the temporary import / export of goods into and out of the UK. It is also a charity that is able to benefit from medical VAT relief and some duty reliefs. The University is currently reviewing its own import and export processes and as part of this, is looking at what services and / or solutions the market has to offer that could assist in meeting the needs of our academics, whilst also supporting the requirement for central reconciliation of documents and evidence. This is a request for information only at this stage to assist the University in determining what is possible and what, if anything, is out of scope.
