Provision of Emergency & Occupational First Aid Training Services

Tender description

St Michael's House is seeking to award a contract for the provision of First Aid Training Services in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007. The scope of this contract includes the provision of two specific courses to a combination of frontline and support personnel, as follows: a) Emergency First Aid Training (EFA) for frontline staff, and b) Occupational First Aid Training (OFA) for administrative staff. The aim of the training for both staff categories is to ensure that all staff are equipped to administer “treatment for the purpose of preserving life or minimising the consequences of injury or illness until the services of a practitioner or nurse are obtained” (HSA Document, Guidelines on First Aid at Places of Work, 2008).
