Lead a Consortium of Providers in the Design, Development and Piloting of Two Accredited (Level 7 & 8) Technology-Enhanced Learning Programmes for Staff in the Education & Training Boards

SOLAS is seeking a contractor to assemble and lead a consortium of providers to design, develop pilot and review, blended, accredited Technology-enhanced Learning (TEL) programmes for Further Education and Training (FET) practitioners at Level 7 and Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications. The objective of the programmes will be to enhance FET practitioners’ TEL practices using digital technologies which best address the learning needs of a diverse group of FET learners. The consortium should have sufficient expertise, experience and capacity to: • Design and develop a Level 7 and a Level 8 programme • Attain accreditation for the programmes • Deliver the accredited programmes on a pilot basis. The number of deliveries will be driven by ETB demand but will be a minimum of 2 deliveries per programme. • Engage with a programme review group and other feedback mechanisms to review and improve course design and delivery throughout the pilot process. On completion of this contract, SOLAS will retain copyright on the TEL programmes developed. Independently of this contract, SOLAS will retain the right to subsequently tender for further roll out of the programmes developed.
