Tender description

It is Highways England’s intention to launch the Smart Motorways Alliance tender to the marketplace at an event on the 10th December. The event will provide an overview of the Alliance objectives and the procurement vehicle to award contract. It will support the formal notification of tender which will be actioned via a separate Public Contract Notice, and it is intended that this be published to the marketplace prior to the launch event. This PIN provides advance notice to support potential tenderer planning. The intended briefing will be an all-day event held on 10.12.2018 in central Birmingham. Venue details to follow. Senior representatives for Highways England will outline the procurement process and the aspirations for the Smart Motorways Alliance (SMA). We intend to invite a maximum number of two attendees per organisation.
