Tender description

The Growth Company (GC) invites suitable organisation to express their interest to be added to a directory of external delivery partners. GC wishes to create a directory of external delivery partners to work with us to deliver the Made Smarter National Adoption Programme NW pilot for the duration of the programme, to 31.3.2021, with an option, to be exercised at the Growth Company’s sole discretion for an additional period for one year. In order to achieve this objective, the Made Smarter Programme will be able to fund IDT adoption related projects on a 50/50 basis in conjunction with programme advisers and delivery partners. In particular the programme is looking for support in the following areas: — Robotics and Process Control Automation, — Industrial Internet of Things (sensors), — Additive Manufacturing (3D printing), — Augmented and Virtual Reality / Simulation, — Data and Systems Integration, — Big Data and Analytics, — Industrial Cyber Security, — Cognitive Computing and Artificial Intelligence, — Mobile Devices and Wearable Technology, — Skills – delivery of programmes supporting the above. The Made Smarter programme will be working with around 500 manufacturing and engineering SME companies in the northwest to deliver grant funded projects. It is anticipated that the average project value will be c. 40k GBP and funding for approved projects will be on a 1 GBP for 1 GBP basis. There will be no contract between the Growth Company and delivery partners on the directory. Any formal agreements will between the SMEs in the programme and the delivery partners.
