Provision of Bus Service to Day Centre, Kilrush

Tender description

The HSE wishes to invite suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of a bus service to the Day Centre in Regina House, Kilrush, Co Clare. The bus service is required five days a week, Monday to Friday. The number of clients using the service is currently 10-17 per day. The bus service is required is to collect clients from their home in the morning, transport them to Regina House Day Centre and return them home in the evening on a daily basis. When not transporting clients to/from the Day Centre between 11.15am and 3.45pm, the bus service may be utilised for transporting clients to appointments/trips. Examples of routes and trips are outlined in Appendix 1 which may be subject to change due to service requirements during the lifetime of any contract awarded. The current clients are over 65 years of age. The bus must be wheelchair accessible and must accommodate up to two wheelchairs as well as walking aid & appliances e.g. rollators,walking frames etc.
