The Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service (NIBTS) are exploring contingency arrangements for the supply of blood from England to Northern Ireland in the event of a mass casualty. As such, NIBTS wish to engage with the market to determine what transportation routes are available to help inform the specification for a potential tender exercise for the service. NIBTS, with the assistance of the Procurement and Logistics Service, wish to hold a supplier engagement event to explore the various proposals.
