NHS Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby CCG - Extended Access to Primary Care

Tender description

This additional capacity is to ensure that everyone has access to GP services, including sufficient routine and same day appointments at evenings and weekends to meet locally determined demand, alongside effective access to other Primary Care and General Practice services such as urgent care services. This must include ensuring access is available during peak times of demand, including Bank Holidays and across the Easter, Christmas and New Year periods. Local Context Extended access services have historically been provided across the Hambleton, Richmondshire & Whitby (HRW) CCG (the commissioner) locality under a NHSE Yorkshire & Humber contract. Through this procurement the CCG has the opportunity to increase the integration and service alignment of extended access with other service operating outside of core hours across the HRW footprint and further develop service and care being provided closer to home.
