Tender description

The authority is seeking Contractor(s) for the provision of fresh butcher meat to include: — beef, — pork, — lamb, — poultry, — game, processed meats and specialist meats such as Halal to the Higher Education (HE) institutions and Further Education (FE) institutions of Scotland and affiliated bodies of APUC. The authority is seeking to gain a level of price normalisation across the Lots where no Lot is subsidised by a smaller or more geographically dispersed lot. The Framework Agreement will be divided into 5 regional lots. A maximum of 3 Contractors will be appointed per lot. The scope of the Framework Agreement is for the supply and delivery of fresh butcher meat (beef, pork, lamb, poultry, including processed meats, bacon, gammon, game and specialist meats e.g. PGI Status Scotch Beef and Halal).
