East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen CCG - Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (PTS) Discharges and Transfers

Tender description

The aim of the service is to ensure that patients who require transport will receive safe, timely and comfortable transport to their destination, without detriment to their medical condition. The operating hours for the service will be: (147 hours a week) Week days: (total 112.5 hours per week)  1pm - 9pm (8 hours)  4:30pm - 11pm (6.5 hours)  11pm - 7am (8 hours) Weekends: (total 34.5 hours per week)  1:45 - 11pm (9.25 hours)  11pm - 7am (8 hours) All journeys shall be booked through an online booking webpage, which ELHT have access to and a reference number will be given. ELHT will be able to amend or cancel journeys online or by ringing the control desk More information will be available within the tender documentation. The service will be commissioned via an open procurement process advertised to all providers which is proportionate to the value and complexity of the service and contract.
