Birmingham airport has awarded a contract for runway anti-icing. Supply of product on agreed maximum response time. Usage in winter 2017/18 was approx. 40 000 kgs. Volume subject to weather conditions each year. Award of anti-icing products to for utilisation in the winter period to ensure the Airfield remains operational. Birmingham Airport has a requirement for the supply of anti-icing products to for utilisation in the winter period to ensure the Airfield remains operational. This requirement is specific to certain weather conditions applying which causes the effect of rain freeze. In the winter of 2017/18 approximately 15 000 litres were utilised. This requirement is obviously dependant upon weather conditions.
