The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is issuing this PIN in order to invite specialist envelope (facades and roofing) contractors to an industry day to present the new Stratford Waterfront Cultural and Education Development which comprises: — Sadler's Wells Theatre (brick cladding), — BBC Concert Studios (precast concrete panels and steel windows), — London College of Fashion (University of the Arts London) (unitised system), — The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) (including the Smithsonian) (precast concrete panels and steel windows). The LLDC will be delivering the project using a construction management approach. The Envelope opportunities are: 1) UAL Envelope: — selection questionnaire: January 2019, — approx value: 17 000 000 GBP. 2) V&A/BBC Envelope: — SQ: February 2019, — approx value: 13 000 000 GBP. 3) Sadler’s Wells Envelope/Roof: — SQ: April 2019, — approx value: 6 000 000 GBP. 4) V&A/BBC Roof: — SQ: May 2019, — approx value: 1 000 000 GBP. The Contracting Authority will be hosting an Industry day on 11.12.2018 to present the project and envelope contract opportunities followed by Q&A's.
