Supply and Installation of Windows to Multiple Inpatient Ward Facilities

Tender description

The Trust is looking for a reputable, established company with a proven track record of working within the NHS to supply and install Windows at SLaM to Multiple Inpatient Ward Facilities. The requirements specifically comprise the replacement of existing windows as identified throughout each of the five buildings; by which inherent ligature risks are posed by the current construction. The proposed requirements comprise the supply and installation of replacement double-glazed aluminium framed anti-ligature, anti-vandal, and anti-absconsion environment focused secure window units. It is also acknowledged that the replacement of these windows will harbour improvements to natural ventilation, thermal efficiency, and general aesthetic uplift. There are a total of fourteen number Clinical Inpatient Services based within the five buildings identified; that will be implicated by this project. Each of these Services are proposed to remain insitu for the complete duration of the respective Construction Phase of works - which are to be administered via a carefully coordinated live environment delivery strategy.
