Tender description

Bernicia is looking to procure the services of competent contractors, to work in partnership with Bernicia’s Property and Construction Division. To carry out a full range of Building, Electrical and Mechanical and Servicing work across Bernicia’s building portfolio. The work will be divided into trade “Lots”, and areas within the North East and each contractor can apply for individual “Lots” or multiple. This contract is a framework contract and no guarantee of work will be made — all values of works given are estimated and based on previous years work. Joinery Bricklaying/ Groundwork’s — paving (flag and block), concrete paths / hardstands Oil, Solid Fuel and LPG Plastering /Tiling Fencing — decorative metal, timber As required Property Clearance / Cleans Drain Clearing and Drain Repairs (manholes, pipe runs, gulleys) Metal Fabrication / Welding Scaffolding Painting and Decoration Damp Proofing / Timber Preservation Flooring — carpets, tiles, vinyl tiles, vinyl sheet Glazing — single and double glazed units TV / Satellite Aerials Windows and Doors Plumbing — Heating Gas Servicing, Unvented Cyclinders, Calorifiers and TMV Servicing Electrical Repairs and Periodic Electrical Testing.
