Provision of an independent technical advisor to the Healthcare Pricing Office (HPO) in relation to Activity Based Funding (ABF)

Tender description

The HSE’s Healthcare Pricing Office (HPO) seeks suitably qualified service providers to assist with its Pricing Model System project via the Activity Based Funding (ABF) Model. The service provider will be required to interact with relevant personnel from the HPO and other relevant key stakeholders in order to advise upon the completion of the ABF project within 24 months of the agreed commencement date. It is envisaged that that commencement date will be September, 2018, unless otherwise agreed. It is anticipated that the external advisor will be required for an average of 2 full days per week on an ongoing basis for an initial requirement of 2 years. HSE reserves the right to extend the initial contract for two further periods of up to 12 months. HSE invites Tenderers to propose ONE resource, the most suitably qualified and experience resource, to fulfil this requirement. The individual proposed by the Tenderer must have substantial experience in the provision of similar services within Activity Based funding in a healthcare environment.
