Blackpool Tower (Promenade, Blackpool FY1 4BJ). Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a suitably experienced Contractor to carry out external structural repairs to Blackpool Tower followed by on going planned maintenance. Blackpool Council wishes to appoint a Contractor who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous bid. Blackpool Council wishes to appoint a Contractor who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous bid. The notification of award is anticipated to be December 2018. The anticipated contract term will be from December 2018 to March 2019 for immediate repair works with the on going maintenance contract following for up to a further 1 year (with the ability to extend year on year up to 4 years subject to satisfactory review and funding approval). Blackpool Council reserves the right at any time to vary, add to, delete, withdraw from, suspend or terminate the Procurement Procedure, any part of the Procurement Procedure by notice in writing to the bidders.
