External support to undertake a Cost Comparison Study to review Community versus Acute Hospital models of Nursing Care delivered to Oncology patients in CHO Area 2

HSE seeks tenders from suitably qualified service providers to provide external support of an experienced economist with expertise in health economics to undertake a Cost Comparison Study to review a Community based model as opposed to an Acute Hospital model of Nursing Care delivered to Oncology patients in Community Healthcare Organisation (CHO) Area 2. All work, including the final report, is to be completed within an anticipated 8-month timeframe from the date of award of contract, unless otherwise agreed. It is proposed that the start date will be no later than 30th September 2018, unless otherwise agreed. Tenderers should note that HSE has a very limited budget available for this study, and seeks to achieve value for money; the maximum available budget is €32,500 (exclusive of VAT).
