Fit-out works for the existing terminal and the terminal extension at London City Airport. Successful pre-qualifying Contractors who have responded to this PQQ may be issued an RFP by LCY which will contain a draft contract that contains all associated works information including a scope of work document. Note that LCY’s design is currently at RIBA Stage 3 which is undergoing further development. LCY’s designer for the fit-out works designers for the fit-out works are The Design Solutions (TDS) for RIBA Stage 2 and is Pascall+Watson to the Employer’s Design.. Are we mentioning TDS as the concept design for the interiors? The scope of works for the Terminal Fit-Out will be taking the Employer’s design to the end of RIBA 6. Fit out Work Package in relation to the CADP – Terminal Buildings including but not limited to the following: — Terminal Buildings, Piers and Gate Rooms - All hard and soft floors, wall, skirting, wall protections, columns and ceiling finishes including decorations – this includes any builder’s works, fire stopping and compartmentation and structural support for the finishes; — glass/Glazed screen, windows, and balustrades with associated infills and respective finishes — retail/Shop front/bulkhead including fascia and signage — back of house corridors — Wall, floor, columns, ceiling finishes, — all internal fixtures and fittings including any internal walls and doors (Security Lanes, Check-In, Baggage Reclaims etc.), — staff welfare and offices areas, — tenant offices, meeting rooms and kitchenette, — bespoke joinery (such as check-in desks) general kitchen equipment, furniture, counters, seating tables and associated items, — internal metal work such as balustrades and the like, — wayfinding and signage.
