Tender description

The Guinness Partnership is a registered social landlord that manages around 65 000 homes nationwide. We will be carrying out a tender to establish a framework of suppliers to provide cleaning services to the communal areas of our estates. This will be a national framework, separated into lots reflecting our areas of operation. The framework will be available to approximately 1 400 schemes across the country, with an initial call-off requirement of 500 schemes. The tender specification will set out in detail the required activities, expected outcomes and the frequencies of the services. Activities will be primarily focussed on regular cleaning services to our estates, however in-scope services will also include activities such as responsive cleaning and periodic deep-cleans. It is anticipated that we will issue the contract notice in early December, with the closing deadline being in mid-January. This process will utilise the restricted procedure. Sheffield, Rotherham, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, High Peak — initial call-off identified for 45 schemes; covering 255 schemes in total. Greater Manchester including Salford, Rochdale, Stockport, Oldham, etc. and the Wirral, Lancashire, Cumbria. Initial call-off expected to be for circa 65 schemes. Lot covers 350 in total. Covers Milton Keynes, Midlands, East Anglia and a small number of schemes in North London. Initial call-off expected to be for 110 schemes. 275 schemes in total. Covers Surrey, Sussex, North Hants, Havant, Waterlooville, and a small number of schemes in South and West London. Initial call-off expected to include 155 schemes. Lot applies to 285 schemes in total. Covers areas including (but not limited to) Gloucester, Bristol, Exeter, Devon and Cornwall — initial expected call-off for 115 schemes with lot covering 250 properties in total.
