Tender description

Tenders are invited for the provision of passenger transport services by taxi, mini bus and/or coach in relation to special educational needs transport for out of county and specialist independent schools. For the avoidance of doubt the establishments this includes are: — Bleasdale School, — Breckenbrough School, — Cambian Whinfell, — Cedar House School, — Crookhey Hall School, — Educla-High Head Castle Farm, — Herdley Bank School, — Kirby Moor School, — Morecambe Road School, — Mowbray School, — Northern Counties School, — Oversands School, — Percy Hedley School, — Priory Hurworth House School, — Progress School, — Queen Katherine School, — Royal School for the Deaf (Derby), — St John's Catholic School for the Deaf, — St Vincent’s School, — SwitchEd2, — Underley Garden School, — West Kirby Residential School, — Wings School You must refer to the “Invitation to tender” document prior to submitting your bid. All submissions must be uploaded and returned via the Chest. Tenders are invited for passenger transport services for out of county and specialist independent schools. The contract is for a maximum of 48 months (3 years plus a 1 year possible extension).The Council expressly reserves the right: 1) Not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice; 2) To make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition; 3) In no circumstances will the Council be liable for any costs incurred during the procurement process if the Council decides to enter into a contract with the successful supplier(s), this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgment of potential suppliers. (IV)Any in house bids submitted by the Council will be considered and assessed in the same manner as any other bid submitted.
