Redesign of the current learning and development function. British Transport Police (BTP) are keen to understand what the commercial sector can offer in terms of opportunities to deliver a more effective learning and development function model. The current learning and development model provides training and development support for all ranks of officers and staff, from new recruits and new police staff inductions through to supporting the development of senior officers and staff. The aim is to deliver a new, modern training and professional development function to meet the current and future skills requirements. As a pre requisite to this BTP are endeavouring to engage with potential providers at the outset to seek advice and input regarding the feasibility, capacity, maturity, capability and likely costings to deliver our specific requirements. Interested parties are asked to complete and return the Early Market Engagement Questionnaire which provides more granular details of BTP's requirements before 23.11.2018. Subject to engagement with the market and consideration of feedback and responses, it is anticipated that the relevant competition paperwork will be issued in the second quarter of 2019.
