Provision of Debt Recovery service

Tender description

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (DBTH) invites interested suppliers to tender for the provision of a Debt Recovery service. The Trust's outsourced Accounts Receivable function (NHS Shared Business Services) provides a limited debt recovery service, involving sending letters/making phone calls up to 60 days over due date, before passing the debt over to the Trust to resolve. It is from this point that the Trust requires additional support to recover outstanding payment of invoices issued to a range of debtors including local authorities, private healthcare providers and individuals and companies based both in the UK and overseas. The main objective of the contract is to secure collection of these debts in a timely, professional manner whilst maintaining a positive public image of the Trust.
