This is for the provision of a national contract for statutory inspections of mechanical and electrical installations, plant, equipment and accessories. It complies with legal requirements under the health and safety at work act in particular: — LOLER 1998 (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998), — PSSR 2000 (Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000), — EAWR 1989 (Electricity at Work Regulations 1989), — CoSHH 2002 Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health 2002), — PUWER 1998 (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998).
