Tender description

Wandsworth Borough Council is tendering a multi lot contract to appoint 2 contractors to undertake lift maintenance and servicing in domestic dwellings and sheltered accommodation at various properties, borough-wide. The contracts are expected to have a duration of 5 years (60 months) with the option to extend for a period or periods of up to 2 years (24 months) at the absolute discretion of the Council. The estimated total value of the contracts is 7 000 000 GBP. The contractor shall provide a full routine inspection, service, breakdown and repairs service to both hydraulic and electric traction passenger lifts to 305 blocks of the Council’s Housing Department premises. The proposed contract duration is 5 years (60 months) commencing on 1.9.2019 with an extension option of a period or periods of up to 2 years (24 months) at the absolute discretion of the Council.
