NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) working with NHS Education for Scotland (NES) are procuring a Contract for a single eRostering System across the NHS in Scotland. NHSScotland (NHSS) published a new Digital Strategy for Health and Social Care in April 1018. This strategy sets out a commitment to build a national approach to the use of digital technologies. The workforce of NHSS is our most valuable resource. We need to ensure that we deploy that workforce in a way that most effectively meets the needs of patients; we need to ensure that our staff have access to information about their working patterns that enable them to manage their working lives, including accessing additional shifts in an easy and intuitive way; we need our rostering systems to be capable of operating across traditional NHSBoard boundaries. Using the ESPD process we will shortlist a number of Bidders to receive the ITT. Please respond by completing the ESPD. The Authority NHS NSS and NHS Nes on behalf of NHSScotland seeks to procure a new national eRostering solution and replace the existing disparate arrangements in place across the various NHS Boards. It requires the system to be capable of interfacing with other relevant NHSScotland business systems to allow automated import and export of data to and from these. The services to be provided within the scope of the contract are: — a single eRostering solution and associated business model for NHSScotland, with localised management and delivery of the eRostering services across individual Health Boards, sites and units, — system hosting, maintenance and development, — data migration from existing disparate Board systems to the single solution, — user training and skills transfer — during implementation and ongoing throughout the term of the contract, — using the ESPD process we will shortlist a number of Bidders to receive the ITT.
