Public road transport services

Tender description

The Children’s Services Transport Team is responsible for providing a home to school transport service for Pupils and Students who live in Torbay who are aged between 4 and 19 and who are entitled to help to get to school or college. The Authority currently has a contract for the provision of bus passes which enables them to travel on the existing transport network when using their services. This contract will expire in July 2018 and the Authority is seeking expressions of interest for the future provision of bus passes. It is expected that these will be available for use on the public transport network. The Authority issued a PIN as call for competition, with only a single supplier capable of meeting the requirements expressing an interest and the contract, the contract is therefore being awarded to this supplier.
