London Borough of Tower Hamlets would like to invite organisations who are interested in attending in a Market Engagement event regarding the tender for a framework for the supply of specific nicotine replacement products (NRT). The purpose of this Notice is to give advance notification of the event and opportunity to tender. London Borough of Tower Hamlets would like to invite organisations who are interested in attending in a Market Engagement event regarding the tender for a framework for the supply of specific nicotine replacement products (NRT). The purpose of this Notice is to give advance notification of the event and opportunity to tender. Procurement of the framework is a collaborative exercise between the LB Tower Hamlets and a number of other London councils. The framework contract will provide NRT products to the smoking cessation service providers delivering services under contract to the Councils. These service providers may include community pharmacy, GP practices, voluntary sector providers and specialist stop smoking services. The current list of NRT products that would be considered for inclusion on the framework are: — medicated gum, — inhalators, — patches, — lozenges and mouth spray. For the avoidance of doubt, this PIN does not formally signify the beginning of any procurement and does not constitute a commitment by London Borough of Tower Hamlets to undertake any procurement exercise. In the event that the London Borough of Tower Hamlets decides to formally commence procurement pursuant to this PIN a separate Contract Notice will be issued. The event will cover the following topics: — Current service delivery, — What we anticipate changing to, and why — An opportunity to ask questions about the requirements. Potential service providers are invited to express an interest via email to diane.harvey@towerhamlets.gov.uk. You will need to provide the following information: — attendee name, — position, — organisation and contact details and the names and positions of up to 2 other colleagues wishing to attend. We anticipate publishing the Contract Notice on Monday 15.10.2018. The event will be held on Wednesday 24.10.2018.
