CCCC18A85 - Provision of Consultancy for Blue Badge Guidance for Local Authorities

Tender description

The Authority seeks to appoint a Supplier to redraft Chapter 4 of the current Blue Badge Scheme guidance to include hidden disabilities. This will detail who might qualify, the factors that local authorities should consider in assessing a person's eligibility; and which healthcare professionals might fulfil appropriately the "eligibility assessor" role. The guidance will be drafted by the Supplier in co-operation with the Authority's policy team, who will have final say on content, but will take into account the views of The Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee and medical experts as presented by the Potential Provider. A full description can be found in the Appendix B - Statement of Requirements The customer has agreed to an extension to the tender submission deadline of 16th October 2016 therefore the event has been reopened.
