TD1312 - Procurement of an Operator for the proposed Derby Ice Rink

Tender description

Derby City Council have identified an opportunity to construct an ice rink in Derby city centre and have developed an indicative scheme on the Beckwell site. Prior to finalising the design, the Council are now seeking to appoint a rink operator to operate the rink once built along with signing off the design at key stages to ensure it conforms to the agreed facilities description. This procurement therefore is concerned with the procurement of the rink operator. The opportunity is underpinned by a number of overarching project objectives, these include: - Self-financing delivery, 2 / 5 - Commercially driven operating solution, - Leisure destination, - Rink built by Winter 2019/2020, - Maintaining momentum The proposed contract duration is for a 25 year lease. This will be dialogued and determined as part of the Dialogue procurement procedure. Further information is provided in a Descriptive Document that is available from the Eastmidstenders Portal.
