Tender description

The General Practice Forward View published in April 2016 set out plans to enable clinical commissioning groups to commission and fund additional capacity to ensure that, by 2020 everyone has improved access to GP services including sufficient routine appointments at evenings and weekends to meet locally determined demand, alongside effective access to out of hours and urgent care services. Refreshed planning guidance published in February 2018, required CCGs to provide extended access to GP services, including at evenings and weekends, for 100 % of their population by 1.10.2018. This must include ensuring access is available during peak times of demand including bank holidays and across the Easter, Christmas and New Year periods. Provision of an Extended Access Service to the population of Northn Lincolnshire in accordance with the accompanying Service Specification, available on the https://www.nhssourcing.co.uk Delivery of extended access totalling 30 minutes of primary medical care appointments per 1000 population located at various sites acorss North Lincolnshire (89 hours). TB service for patients registered with a North Lincolnshire GP Practice only, in full complaince with the Service Specification.
