Construction work for school buildings

Tender description

To undertake the construction of 5 new nursery pavilions at the following locations to provide high quality flexible Nursery accommodation by August 2020: — Eaglesham Primary School Family Centre, — Busby Primary School Family Centre, — Crookfur Pavilion Family Centre, — Overlee Pavilion Family Centre, — Glenwood Family Centre. East Renfrewshire Council is therefore looking to appoint a single experienced and suitably qualified Tier 1 contractor to construct 5 separate new family centres across the authority at the following site locations: — Easglesham Primary School, — Busby Primary School, — Crookfur Pavilion, — Overlee Pavilion, — Glenwood Family Centre. 2 building types have been developed by the design team. Type 1 is the 120 place family centre (to be located on four sites). Type 2 the 180 place family centre (to be located on one site). In addition the Council wants to augment 2 new family centres with a sports and community extension to enhance facilities further at the Crookfur site and at the Overlee site.
