Network Rail requires the supply of the various types of geosynthetic products below: — Geotextile Separator. — Robust Separator. — Biaxial Grids / Triaxial Grids. — Combi-Geogrid Separator. — Anti-pumping Geocomposite. — Geocell. — High Strength Geotextile. Used for the purposes of reinforcing and protecting the track bed during track constructions and renewals. Network Rail has developed an outline product specification which sets out the desired requirements of such a system. This contract will cover the supply of Geosynthetics materials used for the purposes of reinforcing and protecting tracks, by preventing upward contaminants (originating in the soil) from clogging railway ballast. The proposed supply contract will be awarded to 2 suppliers under a zero value framework agreement to supply the following types of geosynthetic products: — Geotextile Separator. — Robust Separator. — Biaxial Grids / Triaxial Grids. — Combi-Geogrid Separator. — Anti-pumping Geocomposite. — Geocell. The supply Framework will be for a 4-year initial term plus a potential extension of up to four years.
