Fingal County Council - Framework for Response and General Maintenance in Dublin 15 (West) and South Fringe - 2016

Tender description

The contract is for emergency cover, general maintenance, repair and small building works to existing Fingal County Council housing stock (2,200 units approx) and other Council facilities in the West of the county and Traveller Group Housing and official Halting Sites in the same areas (50 units approx). Dwellings consist predominately of traditionally built one and two storey houses and flats and three storey apartment blocks and duplex units of various sizes. The contractor will be required to provide an emergency service for the Council, 24 hours per day and 365 days per year. The contractor will also have to prove competence to act as PSCS under current Health and Safety legislation. For tenders to be considered tenderers must be able to demonstrate that they have provided an Emergency Response Service in residential property maintenance/management for substantial dwelling stocks (over 900 units) within the last five years. Tenderers must also be able to demonstrate that they have successfully completed a contract in similar property maintenance and repair (not individual refurbishment and extensions) to occupied dwellings of a minimum annual value of €400,000.00 in the last five years. For tenders to be considered, tenderers must demonstrate that they specialise in response and maintenance for a substantial property portfolio or that they have a specialist division for this work.
