Provision of Ad Hoc Advice to SMEs and Charities for Fastershire - Approved Provider list

Tender description

The Fastershire Project is seeking digital evangelists to create a pool of advisors to provide paid advice and support to Herefordshire and Gloucestershire SMEs and charities. Fastershire is a partnership between Herefordshire Council and Gloucestershire County Council to overcome the commercial market’s failure to provide high speed broadband in areas of both counties. The project uses funding from a range of Local, Central and European government sources to match private sector funds and deliver the infrastructure required to increase the availability of high speed broadband. The project also includes free social and digital inclusion activities, and an extensive business support programme, namely via Faster Business. This is the part of the project where we need your support (see role summary for requirements). We’re looking for excellent communicators with a broad knowledge of it and digital applications who can give SMEs the confidence to make the right choices to maximise their potential.
