Tender description

Border Force (BF) operates a fleet of five (5) Cutters which are deployed strategically around the UK coast and beyond. The objective of this PIN is to assess potential levels of interest and the ability in the market for planned maintenance services for these five (5) vessels. BF maritime require a single contract covering Planned maintenance services for the next 5 years covering: — dry docking/slipping the vessels as required for major maintenance, and shorter minor maintenance periods annually to address machinery planned maintenance work and revalidation of all on-board lifesaving appliances, — lifting equipment and other on-board equipment which also requires re-certification on an annual basis with cover in UK, Mediterranean and Aegean waters. The objective of this PIN is to assess potential levels of interest and the ability in the market to provide five (5) years planned maintenance services for five (5) Cutters — One (1) 47.5 metre Telkka Class built 1993 for the Finish Border Guard and, — Four (4) 42.80 metre Damen 4207 Class Cutters built between 2000 and 2004. BF maritime require a single contract covering Planned maintenance for the next 5 years covering: — dry docking/slipping the vessels as required for major maintenance, and shorter minor maintenance periods annually to address machinery planned maintenance work and revalidation of all on-board lifesaving appliances, — lifting equipment and other on-board equipment which also requires re-certification on an annual basis. The contract must provide cover in the UK, Mediterranean and Aegean waters.
