Orkney Islands Council has a requirement for a local bus and school transport service to be provided in Orkney. This service includes a public transport bus service, school transport and transport services for children and young people with Additional Support Needs. This is a continuing requirement, as the current School and Public Bus Contract commenced on 1.4.2015 and shall operate until 31.3.2020. Contracts awarded will be for a commencement date of 1.4.2020.
