Tender description

The project is to take place in the grounds of St. Marys GFC at Ardee Co. Louth, located on the south side of Ardee Town just off the main N2. The works will be scheduled on 2 seperate phases. Phase 1 of the project includes the construction of a walking track around the pitch to the rear of the site with the walking pathway commencing at the carpark area. The walking track will be illuminated via existing lighting and additional lighting to match existing that will allow the entire track to be used all year around. Phase 2 of the project includes works to upgrade existing car parking area with tarmacadam surface and all associated surface water drainage systems, lighting and line markings for 92 car parking spaces, which will include seven number of disabled parking spaces. The intended completion date for the Project is proposed for August 2019. The project is to take place in the grounds of St. Marys GFC at Ardee Co. Phase 2 of the project includes works to upgrade existing car parking area with tarmacadam surface and all associated surface water drainage systems, lighting and line markings for 92 car parking spaces, which will include seven number of disabled parking spaces. Access will be provided throughout the construction process for the everyday activities of the club to be carried out unimpeded. A work area will be cordoned off to allow the contractor to park work vehicles adjacent to the work area. The final details of this lies at the discretion of St. Marys GFC commitee and the contractor will have to pay due consideration toward having to safely and carefully traverse from the road to the work site adjacent to the clubhouse and playing fields. The intended completion date for the Project is proposed for August 2019. The contractor will be obligated to provide a draft programme of works with Tender submission for review. In submitting a Bona Fide Tender, the contractor takes responsibility to complete the project within the time frame as submitted unless otherwise agreed with the Client. The tendering contractor must provide evidence of public and employee insurance and provide evidence of their experience in carrying out such projects.
