WHC - Housing Market and Demand Analysis

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is currently exploring direct and partnership housing delivery options, which include provision within the Housing Revenue Account and options for delivery through wholly- and partially-owned companies. A key element of this exploration will be to ascertain and understand the range of tenures and housing products that are required within the borough and which might form priorities for delivery. We require a suitably qualified and experienced company to undertake research and analysis work to help identify which housing markets/price points are in most demand in the borough, which will also include profiles of the community's income and capacity to pay for housing. This is to be broken down by the different housing markets within the borough, which are relatively diverse. The Council requires the market granularity to be broken down into 5 points - Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Welwyn, Welham Green and Cuffley.
