Tender description

The London Borough of Hounslow is relocating 1 300 members of staff, working towards new ways of working, occupying a total of 864 desks from The Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN offices across to their new Flagship Headquarters at Hounslow House, 26 Bath Road, Hounslow TW3 3EB. The moves are anticipated to take place over four move weekends, commencing in Q1 2019. The project also involves the clearance of the existing offices at the Civic Centre offices at Lampton Road. The moves are anticipated to take place over 4 move weekends, commencing in Q1 2019. The project also involves the clearance of the existing offices at the Civic Centre offices at Lampton Road. The Relocation Service Provider is required to tender on the basis of; Attending a series of planning of meetings and site visits in advance of each move phase. Relocating 648 desks and associated monitor arms, as indicated on the Move Programme at Appendix 1 Dismantle where required and relocate the following quantities of furniture during the Pilot Move and subsequent 3 move phases: 640 desks 864 task chairs 70 Tub chairs 50 Coffee Tables 19 Orange Box Sofa’s 16 Orange box pods 400 stackable conference/meeting chairs 8x meeting room tables (of various sizes) 600 x 3 high filing cabinets 250 banks of locker in banks of 6 and 8 Pack, move and unpack 694 linear metres in the Public Library on the ground floor Pack, move and unpack a maximum of 1 800 linear metres of filing, a percentage of which, will need to be packed under supervision and security sealed during transport. All packing to be undertaken during office hours with all unpacking to be completed over each move weekend, prior to staff arrival on day one.
