The Council of the City of Wakefield will be undertaking a call for further competition under the YPO Enforcement Agency Services DPS pursuant to the requirements of the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016 and the procedures laid down in the DPS. Only those suppliers registered on the DPS will be invited to participate. From here suppliers can log in andregister an interested in the DPS. Deadline for expression of interest for consideration of joining the DPS is 14.9.2018. Wakefield Council is looking to secure the provision of an efficient and effective Enforcement Agent Service through the appointment of a primary and secondary service provider. The Council of the City of Wakefield will be undertaking a call for further competition under the YPO Enforcement Agency Services DPS pursuant to the requirements of the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016 and the procedures laid down in the DPS to enter into a concession contract under which the Council will entrust the provision of the enforcement agency services to concessionaires in relation to debts accruing regarding non-payment of the following: Council Tax; Business Rates; BID Levy; Civil Parking Enforcement; Overpaid Housing Benefits Debt Recovery; Sundry Income Debt Recovery including High Court Enforcement; Miscellaneous Debt Recovery together with the following ancillary services: Tracing Service. The Council is looking to appoint one supplier for first line referrals and a different supplier for second line referrals under services concession contracts. Successful suppliers must be able to provide all of the above mentioned services which will be described in more detail in the tender documents to be published under the call for competition. Only those suppliers registered under the DPS will be invited to tender in the further call for competition process.
