South Gloucestershire Council : Response Repairs & Maintenance Service for SG Homes

Tender description

SG Homes is South Gloucestershire Council’s Social Lettings Agency, which manages properties on behalf of private landlords to enable increased housing options for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Currently SG Homes manage 48 properties which are geographically located across South Gloucestershire. The Council also lease a further 21 properties for temporary accommodation and is responsible for response repairs, scheduled certificates and maintenance. As part of the management of this portfolio of properties, South Gloucestershire Council is required to organise response repairs on properties and carry out ongoing maintenance, including the required statutory inspections and certificates, on behalf of the Council and its private sector landlord partners. The current arrangement is now due for recommissioning and the Council is therefore seeking to identify a partner organisation to deliver this function on its behalf from 1st November 2018 for a period of 2 years, with the option to extend beyond this period for a further 12 months.
